Good morning. On Friday, we are having Military and EMS/First Responder night at the football game against Northwestern. All Military and EMS/First Responder personnel will get in free to the football game. In addition, any Military and EMS/First Responder personnel who would like to be recognized before the game needs to share their information with Mr. Weismantel so they can be recognized. We will read the information and the personnel will go out to midfield for recognition. You can either call Mr. Weismantel at 605 - 284 - 2875 or email him at nick.weismantel@k12.sd.us. Please come out and support these heroes at our football game on Friday!

There has been a slight change in plans in regard to the assembly we sent information about earlier today. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the presenters have to postpone the assembly. We are hoping to reschedule for sometime next week; however, a make-up date has yet to be determined. We will provide more information when it becomes available. Thanks!

This is a reminder that this Friday, September 12th, will mark the first student-help Friday of the school year. MS/HS students with missing assignments need to attend. Elementary students will attend on an invitation-only basis. If you are the parent of an elementary student, please contact your classroom teacher for more information. Parents of students needing transportation on Friday should contact the school office by 10:00 AM tomorrow (Thursday) morning so that we are able to make the proper arrangements. We do intend to send a bus to and from the Bowdle school that day, but would like to make sure that arrangements are made for students needing a ride from home to the Bowdle school. So again, if your child is in need of transportation on Friday, please contact the school in the morning. Thanks!

It was a fast and furious week for North Central Thunder activities. It was great to see our student-athletes have the opportunity to compete on several different fronts. We appreciate your efforts and the enthusiasm you brought to, and for, our programs. Likewise, thank you to everyone that helped out in some capacity over the course of the week. Whether it was working an event, providing transportation, or simply supporting our student-athletes, we appreciate you and your efforts! Go Thunder!
