The EC Varsity Golf team continues to tear up the course! Congratulations to them on another 1st place team finish at the Ipswich meet on Saturday. Seth Hettick finished in 2nd place with a 37 in the 9 hole tournament and Harrison Beyers finished 7th with a 41.
Also competing were Trent Beyers (44), and Cade Beitelspacher (43).
The E.C. P.A.C. is hosting a F.O.C.U.S. Friday Spring special this Thursday, April 30th from 5-7 p.m. in conjunction with the spring FFA meal. It was another day of success for our athletes on the golf course today! Congratulations to two of our JV golfers for placing in the Ipswich JV/JH meet today. Adam Hettick who finished 1st place with a 43 and Jaxson Hettick who took 2nd place with a 46! Way to go, boys!
The North Central sports co-op is once again offering decorative metal yard signs! Designs are available for both track and golf.

Congratulations to the boys on an impressive 2nd place team finish at the Faulkton Invitational!
Leading the way was Seth Hettick with an 8th place finish (82). Close behind, Harrison Beyers took 9th (83), followed by Trent Beyers in 10th (83), and Cade Beitelspacher rounded things out with a 15th place finish (86).
Great effort all around—on to Ipswich on Saturday!
Due to a conflict with State FCCLA and a majority of the YTC Conference having FCCLA participants, the YTC Conference has elected to move the YTC Track Meet to Thursday, April 30th in Gettysburg starting at 12:30 PM. This meet was originally scheduled for Tuesday, April 28th in Gettysburg. Thank you!

In the JV division, Adam Hettick led the way with a 1st place finish, shooting a 44, followed by Jaxson Hettick in 2nd with a 47.
On the girls' side, Emma Wesch kicked off her season strong with a 3rd place finish and a score of 70.
Rounding out the day, Corbin Beyers secured 4th place in the JH boys division with a 49.

The boys placed four golfers in the top ten and secured a first-place team finish—what a strong showing!
Seth led the way with an outstanding 81 to take 1st place, Harrison followed closely with an 82 for 2nd, Trent rose to the challenge with an 89 earning 4th, Cade rounded out the top performers with a 90 for 6th place.
We’re so proud of this start to the season and can’t wait to see them continue to conquer the greens. Keep it up, boys!

The team also competed Friday in Mitchell, where Seth added an 11th place finish with another strong round of 79.

Edmunds Central Student Council will be hosting a blood drive on Wednesday, April 15th from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM in the new gym.
The E.C PAC is hosting their annual MOMentum this Saturday and would like to invite all area women to join the event!
The event is open to all with no admission fee.
There is a main event speaker, breakout sessions including a professional home organizer, and more!

The last of the senior trip posts finishes up with a quick two days in Boston. The kids loved Boston and all the great history here! We walked The Freedom Trail (with stops at the gravesites of Samuel Adams & Paul Revere), Paul Revere's house, The Old North Church, and the site of the Boston Massacre. We also took an amphibious duck boat tour of the city and a few of the students were given the wheel while we were on the Charles River - the driver was a hoot and we all did plenty of laughing during the ride. Last, but definitely a highlight, we hit the New England Aquarium before heading to the airport. We also threw some tea into the harbor during our visit to the Boston Tea Party Museum! We've had a great week, enjoyed a ton of American history and monuments and are headed home to our families! The kids have a new appreciation for rest! 😆❤️

This morning in NYC, our EC Seniors experienced a very impactful early access tour at the 9/11 Museum and Memorial. We had an incredible tour guide who walked us through the historic details of this date.
We are so thankful to have had this museum to ourselves before it filled with more people. Standing on the bedrock of the Twin Towers and viewing the box column remnants listening to the story was so powerful.
