Mrs. Spitzer is out today.

The Student Council is putting on a Chili Cookoff and an all-you-can-eat Chili & Knoephla Soup Supper on Friday, December 1st, from 5-7pm. There will be two entry divisions for the Chili Cookoff: Student & Adult, with four judging categories: Best Overall, Most Unique, Tongue Burner, and People’s Choice.  Entries must be at the school by 4pm with judging beginning at 4:15pm. All entries must pre-register with Kayla in the office.

Snow Queen Girls: Remaining paperwork, pictures, etc, all needs to be in TODAY. Stop in the office if you are unsure what you’re still missing.

Odysseyware students:  End of term is coming and you need to have your online classes completed by December 17, 2017.  You also need to get signed up to take your online classes for next semester or change your schedules.  If you plan to take Dual Credit please see Mrs. Spitzer as these are on first come first serve basis and some of you may have to take accuplacer.

Spring Dual Credit: Registration process has started for Spring Dual Credit courses.  A list of available courses are listed on each schools website under the dual credit “High School students take classes now”.  Please get on the portal and make sure what classes you want to take and come to Mrs. Spitzer with those classes ready to go.  If you wait too long the classes will fill up so PLEASE don’t procrastinate.  Those of you who didn’t take dual credit this fall, need to get a form from Mrs. Spitzer for your parents to sign or you can find it online as well.

Seniors: Please speak with your parents about completing the scholarship form for LATI if you are planning to attend that institution.  It is the same one that you complete for the Build Dakota Scholarship.  Those are due December 1, 2017 to be considered for priority scholarships.  Please speak with your parents about completion of the FAFSA.  Even if you don’t think you will qualify for financial aid, university and colleges use that information for awarding scholarships.  Parents will use 2016 tax data for this application and need to get online and complete it.
